Serving Students, Families, and Faculty
Blair Elementary School is a public campus, just one block away from the church. In 2025, Valwood Park officially adopted them! As a sponsor, we provide ongoing care to the students, families, faculty, and staff of the school.
What We Do
We participate in the annual Angel Tree
Every Christmas, Blair Elementary hosts an Angel Tree drive to provide presents for families within the school community. Beginning in November, Valwood Park holds a special donation drive to support their efforts. You can either make a financial donation, and we buy the presents on your behalf, or you can purchase a gift for a student and bring it to the church.
We mentor students
Many students crave positive attention from adults who can encourage them, push them, and have their backs. Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD offers a mentor program that allows us to provide that encouragement and support on campus during the school day.
We show appreciation to the faculty
Teaching in public school is not for the weak! Throughout the year, we offer our appreciation through food and gift cards that make the lives of Blair faculty just a little easier.
We offer scholarships to Students in need
From time to time, the school alerts us when individual families are facing specific financial needs. On a case-by-case basis, we meet those needs.
We provide School Uniforms
Blair Elementary requires students to wear approved uniforms at school. Growing students and their families don’t always have the funds to purchase these uniforms. At the beginning of each school year, we provide additional clothes that the campus can distribute to families in need.

You can make a financial impact by donating to the Blair Fund. Donations are used to purchase uniforms, support teachers, and fuel our ongoing ministry.
Become a Mentor
Invest in the students at Blair Elementary by serving as a mentor through the school district. All mentors must complete the CFBISD criminal background check and mentor training.
